The Bucks County Interfaith Coalition for Refugee Resettlement, known further within this notice as BCICRR, respects your privacy. We are providing this notice to inform you of the information that we collect about you, how we use that information, and how and under what circumstances we will disclose that information to other parties. We do not collect any personal information about you on our website unless you provide it to us voluntarily and knowingly.

Personal Information That We Collect

Individuals may visit the BCICRR website without submitting any personal information. Visitors who wish to receive BCICRR e-communications (e-mails and newsletters) voluntarily provide us with contact information including name and e-mail address. We may use this information to communicate with you about BCICRR. You may opt out of receiving these communications by clicking the “unsubscribe” link or e-mailing us at BCICRR@gmail.com.

Individuals seeking to volunteer with BCICRR voluntarily provide us with contact information and other background information to assist us in placing them in appropriate volunteer activities. The information collected may include name, address, phone number, languages spoken, and skills and experience.

Individuals seeking to donate to BCICRR will be connected through our website to AffiniPay, a company that partners with non-profit organizations to provide a simple, secure and streamlined means of accepting donations. Credit card information is maintained securely by AffiniPay, who provides us with the date and amount of the donation, in addition to the name, email address, billing address, and the last 4 digits of the credit card provided by the donor. We also receive donations from individuals through checks submitted directly to BCICRR.

We may also have access to aggregate anonymized information to track visitor traffic to our website, which enables us to identify which features better serve the needs of those interested in BCICRR.

How We Use the Information That We Collect

BCICRR does not provide, sell, or rent personal information that we collect about you to anyone outside of our organization.

We use the information you provide us to furnish services to you, such as e-mail communications, newsletters, and information about volunteer activities. You may choose to opt out at any time, and we will honor that request immediately.

We also maintain records of the roles that our volunteers and BCICRR team leaders are taking on, or have been involved with, for our internal use.

We may also disclose aggregate anonymized data about our website traffic to outside parties who are helping us with website development and other services.

How and Where We Store Personal Information

We are based Bucks County, Pennsylvania, USA. Therefore, if you provide us with information, we collect, process and store that information in the United States. If you access our website from outside the Country with laws governing data collection and use that differ from U.S. law, please note that you may be transferring your personal information to the United States, which does not have the same data protection laws as the EU or some other countries.
